As dreaded as cancer is by all and sundry, did you know that cervical cancer can be prevented with a simple vaccine? Cervical Cancer is the second most common cancer in women. Even though there is a good chance of a cure if the cancer is detected and treated in the early stages, there is a vaccine that can protect you altogether.

Cervical cancer is one of the few cancers that you can be protected against. The cancer is caused by the HPV - Human Papilloma Virus that infects the cervix. HPV can easily spread through any form of intercourse or genital contact. To reduce your risk of getting cervical cancer, keep your cervix healthy. Do an LBC (liquid-based cytology) test and get the HPV vaccine as soon as possible.
